I am the bread of life... Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you... For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.

Take ye, and eat. This is my body... Drink ye all of this. For this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many unto remission of sins.

The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord?

Whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord... he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.

This is my body, which is given for you: do this for a commemoration of me... This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.

Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God... Thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church... I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

Feed my lambs... Feed my lambs... Feed my sheep.

Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.

And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.

Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you.

And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also.

That thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation. For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.

As also our most dear brother Paul... hath written to you: As also in all his epistles... in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.

Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women... Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word.

Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb... And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?... For behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars... And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations.

Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.

For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God; Not of works, that no man may glory. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.

What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works?... Faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself... Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only?

Who will render to every man according to his works: To them indeed, who according to patience in good work... eternal life: But to them that are contentious... wrath and indignation.

For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat... Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry...? And the king answering, shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.

With fear and trembling work out your salvation.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith that worketh by charity.

For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.

As the Father hath sent me, I also send you... Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.

Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven.

Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church... Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved.

God... hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation... hath placed in us the word of reconciliation. For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, God as it were exhorting by us.

Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is to you, and to your children.

And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying: If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there.

In the days of Noe, when the ark was a building... eight souls were saved by water. Whereunto baptism being of the like form, now saveth you also: not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the examination of a good conscience towards God.

In whom also you are circumcised with circumcision not made by hand... buried with him in baptism, in whom also you are risen again by the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him up from the dead.

Every man's work shall be manifest... the fire shall try every man's work, of what sort it is... If any man's work burn, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.

For if he had not hoped that they that were slain should rise again, it would have seemed superfluous and vain to pray for the dead... It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.

And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.

And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.
